Rear track pads should I swap rotors too?
Right now I just swap front pads and rotors for track days. I don't like having to re-bed the track day pads every time I swap them and I also like being able to see how much rotor my track day habit is using up
Based on what I'm reading here, many folks recommend swapping both front and rear pads. Though I haven't had any problems with my setup, I'm thinking of trying this out. Question for all you folks swapping to rear pads for track days - do you keep a set of dedicated rear rotors for those pads? Are the rear rotors any more of a pain to swap than the fronts? Might as well let me know whether you swap front rotors as well. |

I don't keep separate rotors for any of my pads. Just swap pads only. Swapping rear rotors isn't any more difficult than the front. Just don't put your parking brake on!
