Which would you rather have? BMW i8 or Audi R8 (MKII)

Totally different cars in too many ways, but no denying they both represent the top level for each brand. Its a difficult decision, but I go i8 in the end..

I wouldn't ever cross shop the two, totally different cars. Brain tells me i8, but my heart can't ignore a V10.

R8 feels more like the right car for the price.

i8 looks like a mess. The rear of that car is just awful.

+1 for the R8, NA V10 all day long.

Seen it in person? Completely disagree, it is stunning and very well thought out.

R8 without any hesitation. I love BMW but no way I wouldn't take the R8. Actually id only take the old model R8. I HATE the new Auto interior. I think removal of the central display is a huge mistake. I want my passengers to be able to see and control things like radio and Nav.

I'd have a 911 gt3 over both.

I wouldn't really want either in any situation, to be honest.

R8. If I want an electric car, I'll happily get an i3.

Can't ignore a Atmo V10 with an 8k redline.

For me it's about the Feel and engagement when driving; its not how You look when you get in. After the scissor doors close then what?

Sorry BMW, R8 in this case.

Just don't get it...why so many haters on a BMW forum!!!
You prefer an Audi, then go and join an Audi forum and leave this site for all of us bad tasters...
I can't simply sit in another car and watch a BMW pass by me...end of story!!!
i8, b5, l2,.... It's a BMW....
Audi is a "glorified" VW!
