Hi all,

Finally I'm ready to purchase myself a m2c coming months/weeks. Im currently looking a DCT M2C black or Hockenheim silver only. Just wondering, what is the fair pricing right now for a m2c? Saw it on car sales most of it listed 100k ish with low mileage (below 40kkms) which I find it very pricy and hardly sold. Im here to try my luck to look for one within my budget which is below 100k with low mileage (below 40kkms) 2018/2019. Im based in Melbourne VIC, happy to deal w interstate seller but preferably VIC seller.

It’s unbelievable how fruity the market is. On a quick peruse I note that most of the private sellers are listing at the same price dealers are (at drive away) so surely there is some fat in those asking prices. Stamp duty difference alone is 3% or so depending on your State. A lot of those listings are asking more than they would have been sold for new.

As someone who has happened to have sold a couple of cars in the past year or so (inc an M2C shame you wernt looking a year ago!) I strongly suggest that your best strategy is just get your finance (or cash) well in order in advance. For me, I don’t care if it’s say 96 or 97k (or whatever), as long as I’m not jerked around by a buyer.

And trawl your WTB on here, it’s generally a nicer place than carsales! 😁

Shame, last year did not have the money to get myself one... saw one posted on Facebook Australia BMW sales group for only 85k.... and ticked all my spec, mileage, colour and only 19kkms...

Honestly, im just hope I will get one here or car sales within my budget which is 90k ish. and I believe the covid prices is crashing atm so im not paying 100k or more for a used M2C. Bump into a cool m2c owner last few weeks talked about the car and I realise he only paid 100k for a new one. Well, I just hope I will get one within my budget and not paying over priced covid taxes haha
