Installed Dinan HAS last week. Did the max up front and about a quarter in the rear.

I know it's early still, but how do you like the Dinan setup compared to stock? It's sounded to me like a good compromise between just doing springs, which I'm wary of, and a coilover setup, which I'm not sure I need.

Did a good amount of research here on the forum to get feedback on the Dinan vs KW vs MSS. I don’t daily or track the car so the HAS kit made all sense to me. My goal was to slightly lower the vehicle and have a more compliant ride and can confirm that Dinan came through. I did thought about Mperformance Coils but i’ll consider that down the road once i need to replace my shocks. Didn’t really consider just doing springs. Overall, im very happy with the Dinan HAS. Waiting for the springs to settle then get an alignment and make a little adjustment. A tad too low in the rear or i’m just getting a little too old!

They're oem from the m3/m4, specific color is called ferric grey. I bought for winter, the 437's that came with the car are currently hanging on the wall with summer tires

Air filters today (cabin and engine intake). I bought my M2 used at the beginning of the year and really wasn’t sure about the state of the filters — I’ve been assuming they’d been replaced on time by the previous owner.
While getting the engine bay airbox opened up, I found that the clip that’s normally hidden from view under the steel brace is completely missing. Makes me glad I checked the filter! I’ll have to order a new clip, I suppose. The engine intake filter was a little dingy, but not too bad. You can see the old one on the left and new on the right. |

Sometimes the clip will be just sitting as such that you can still see it down below But the box has to be totally out for you to see below w clarity Not sure why they don’t make them so they stay put Definitely easy to drop one
