I have a MG M4 and my mate has a SO one. They are both so different! Like you say, the MG makes the car look classy and aggressive at the same time, whereas SO is just super aggressive. I'm still undecided which way I want to go, LBB or MG!

I would love one in SO but as we know that's not going to happen, so are you getting out of the M4 for the M2?

Most likely I'll replace my YMB M3 for it. The M3 will be over 2 years old by the time the M2 arrive.

Did you lose your production allocation? I changed mine from LBB to BSM and now the delivery has been pushed back another 3 months.

Over 2 years?! Basically junk by then. Burn it with fire!

No production date is still earmarked for March, it did not change the delivery date at all. I would be livid if the dealer pulled that with me. The car hasn't hit production the order can be changed

Sounds strange. It usually just get pushed back if you add something extra that needs more production planning (like adding individual or different wheels that are not stocked etc).

I have changed/added a bunch of stuff to my car after allocation and production date without issues.

Apparently mine was one of the first for production? But I might check this with the salesman again (this is BMW Sydney after all)

I thought it was alpine white. Why the change of heart?

They had an AW M4 on the showroom floor. Although it looked good, it showed none of the aggressiveness of the car. You couldn't call out the flared arches. The hood scoop wasn't prominent. Nothing stood out.

They had a MG 435i on the floor as well with black wheels. Saw it, and instantaneously I knew MG was the way to go. It truly looked epic in real life.

I agree. Too many lines get washed out in AW with the new designs. In so. California, it is always bright. You need a metallic.

I agree with you. I had Sparkling Graphite on my 335i and in certain lights it was blueish/purpleish.

Mineral grey seems much more grey.

Personally, I think you either have to go all black wheels (non-polished) and black trim all around for it to work with MG.

Otherwise, silver wheels are the way to go. This looks s**t hot:

I actually think darker wheels look much better on the darker colours. At least in pictures. And also, that view of the M2 is the worst when it comes to proportions. Makes the rear look so big and bulky.
Sure it looks much better IRL than in the pic but it reminds me of a neighbour Hyundai:

I agree, if they're all black. As in solid. The M2 wheels have a polished face that ruins it a bit for me.

Think this:

I think you need to see the M2 in real life. Pictures don't really do its shape justice.

In fact MG needs indeed a black (satin) rim. Personally I'm rather thinking about a VMR or APEX for a winterset.
