Newbie- 2019 M2C and using BimmerCode to deactive headunit warning

Hey all

First time M owner of any kind- so blown away and absolute driving pleasure! Just need to learn how to drive it now.

So got a question for BimmerCode users and deactivating the Head Unit “Warning at Start Up”- I don't seem to have a "Deactive" option- it’s simply set at “Not Active”.

Am I missing something?

Thanks all

BTW- I'll be up for the next M2 meet- I saw the photos on here of the last few. Good knowledge gains for me. Cheers

Welcome,

There is no deactivate option. Almost, and possibly all, functions will only show Activ and Nicht Activ. If Nicht Active is selected then that would be the same as deactivate.

Hope that helps, H

OK & thanks HFW003 (BTW I got a Tuono )

So has anyone been able to deactivate the "Warning at Start Up”?

Those 3 required confirmations are really bugging me.

You're welcome, and that's a very old pic, I have a V4S.

Maybe I am misunderstanding you but it is very easy to disable the initial warnings.

If they are set to Not Active then they should not work.

Perhaps make sure you have followed the instructions properly?

It’s not really answering your question, but coding aside it’s easy enough to get into an automatic habit yourself: jump in- press start- press auto engine idle shutoff off- press ok on idrive. (And, optional - press M1 with preferred daily settings).

It’s gets into such a routine you forget you are even doing it, and the irritation disappears. Part of the ‘turn it on put it in gear release handbrake’ routine that we all have to do anyway.

Thanks guys.

I worked it out- it was the frigging seatbelt warning on startup- so now deactive.

Now beautifully quite on startup with no pestering pings!

I do love this car!
