I'm having similar questions. I just bought a 2021 M2C that had an "M Driver's pkg" as a $2,500 option. It is clear that it raises the speed limiter to 174 MPH, but the track time portion is not very clear at all. I called the performance center today and the representative did not add much clarity to it. She said a coordinator would give me a call with what my options are. Stay tuned!

If anyone has cashed in this option, please share details of your experience with it.

This is part of what I'm trying to sort out - I want to put my wife through this, and then I'll take the M-Drivers's package voucher and put that toward the 2 day advanced school for myself since I have plenty of Skip Barber training already and want to do something on the more specialized end if I can.

I'm fairly certain that if you have the M Driver's Package, that's all you're getting out of that car. You can join the BMW CCA and get 15% off any school, and that can stack with your M Driver's Package (you can only combine 2 things--that's the limit on discounts)

I'd recommend that your wife start off with the car control clinic school (either 1-day or 2-day) rather than have her dropped into M cars.

I had the M Driver's Package on my M3 CS. I used that "credit" that's worth $1550 towards Advanced M School. If you stick with the M Driver's Program, you'll get drive time in all the Ms, but at least according to the wording on the website, you share the car with someone else (not sure if that's changed with COVID-19, but it probably has). I think it's more fun than school oriented.

My plan is/was to use my BMW CCA discount, plus the 1550 for the 2 day advanced school for me.

My hope was that the half day experience thing that comes with every M car was a separate thing and my wife could do. She's a pretty good driver and done some autocross and driving event stuff, but never pushed a higher horsepower car, so I want her to do that so she'll be able to appreciate and want to drive the CS more.

I you are saying that you only get one or the other, than it's the two day school, and maybe I'll pay for the M experience separately for her, as that is pretty affordable from what I saw.

I did forget about that 2 hour experience they offer for any car purchased/leased in 2020. I don't know if having the M Driver's Package voids that. It doesn't hurt to ask though! That 2 hour track event consists of an offroad course in the X5/X7 and then a mix of cars for a few laps around the autocross portion of the facility, and a hot lap.

Hope so very exciting, because I was told by my dealer BMW (allegedly) had canned the program in Australia; now I have to ask him again.

Cheers
It's definitely available, I received an email saying the driving experience is postponed to at least 2021 and those that received just prior to covid will have their participating date extended by an automatic 12 months.

However the good news is! they did mention we will be able to drive the new G8X with their new fleet of M cars come next year.

Hopefully yours is a fun track like The Bend. In Sydney it is Eastern Creek or whatever it is called these days. Mind numbing track with a painfully long drive to get there for me, so I passed on the first one.

Thank you, looking forward to spending some time at the Bend but it's 210+km there and back and I wouldn't know what to do with myself going at just 100 there and back (insert evil laugh)
