Picked the car up today. The orange and HS looks so good together. Like unbelievably good. Sorry about the crappy photos. Also no idea what people are on about, the exhaust sounds amazing from the outside in Sport+, especially in parking garages haha.

Congrats mate.
Australian deliveries don’t have the OPF so the exhaust noise is good. 👌 |

Yes it sounds fantastic. In the 3 hours in Sydney that it has not pissed down since I picked up the car last Saturday, driving with both windows open has been pure joy. Surely this rain must end. I feel like I’m living on the set of blade runner. |

I'm sorry if this question has been asked before in this forum, but can somebody please advise if the regular M2C can be ordered with the 437 M wheels that are fitted as standard to the Pure? The specification guide suggests this may not be available to order, but if it is, would there be a credit offered, since it's an $1100 option on the Pure to upgrade to the 788 M wheels that are fitted standard to the regular M2C?

While I agree the 788 M wheels look great, they would be a pain to clean with 20 spokes and internally difficult to reach. They are also a little heavier than the 437 M wheels - refer https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...66&postcount=6 Of course, none of this really matters when behind the wheel, but it can make a difference to the overall ownership experience for some. Is it a deal breaker for me? No! |

Regarding weight, both wheels are quite light for their size. The increase in the 788 would be imperceptible. From what I see the construction is better suited to our roads as it’s much less less likely to buckle. Overall though. I find the 437 a very unattractive wheel that would be more suitable for a Nissan. It’s one of the things that really put me off the previous model. |

BMW Sydney is having a 2 day sale event, might be a good time to pick up a M2C with the on-road savings.

Did anyone get a M Drive voucher with their purchase? Usually u get this with a M purchase but I didn't get one with mine. I need to ask the dealer.

Has anybody been shopping around for a M2C recently? I'll be looking in the new year, curious as to whether there's any decent discounting to be had on them yet or not. I imagine not much given they're still pretty new.

I got invited to one before I took delivery. I thought about it, realised I’d have to get up at 7 AM and drive in Sydney traffic for 2 hours to possibly the most boring track in Australia. Gave it a miss.

I can't believe it. The Aussie BMW configurator for the Comp is finally online. Still also has the OGM2 which is odd.
I will say it again. BMW marketing in AU not really their strong point. |

Went to have a drive of the m2c today and was not disappointed - noticeable step up from my m135i (as you'd hope)!
Interestingly, I had gone assuming I'd order hockenheim silver, but they had a sunset orange there with the dark wheel option and it really grabbed me! So am torn between the 2 now haha. Getting some prices this week and hopefully put an order in soon Going to be a long wait as I'm set on manual, so factory build. |
