Track day numbers: don't use autocrossnumbers.com

After checking out a bunch of different sites selling magnetic race numbers, I settled on autocrossnumbers.com based on the design, a couple good reviews, and the price. I guess I didn't do enough research, because I'm now fairly certain autocrossnumbers.com is a scam. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard a thing. I've emailed their support address, submitted a request on their website, called their 800 number (which turned out to be a telemarketing info request), and called the "owner" Blair directly, but it was some sort of phone service.

I'm requesting a refund through my credit card company and posting here so you guys don't make my same mistake. Anyone have a better recommendation for magnetic race numbers?

Ended up going with a pair of 8" numbers from soloperformance for $57. Hopefully this turns out better.

Interesting. One of my buddies has been sponsored by them for years without issue. Wonder what is going on.

Just find someone with Cricut machine. Then get the numbers cut out of a roll of window cling vinyl. Cost me 10.00 for the vinyl and a few beers for the labour of hitting “print”. My numbers are 10 inch. I just clean my door and transfer them onto paint, then peel off and back onto the backing paper. Works great. I got 5 sets of my numbers out of the roll. So I have spares.

After giving up on autocrossnumber.com (I never did hear anything back or find a way to cancel), I went with soloperformance.com, which had a 2 week delivery estimate. Well, now it's been 3 weeks and still haven't seen anything show up. Emailed support and called their phone and left a voicemail last week...still no response. What is the deal with all these auto businesses with terrible customer service?

If this doesn't work out, I'll give trackdecals or autocrossdigits a look. Sigh.
