HELP: Brake prep for Thunderhill

I'm doing my first post-quarantine trackday in July at Thunderhill. I'd like to swap pads and fluid, but don't want to have to swap pads back afterwards. What's the best option, or is it even worth it? Should I just do fluid? Which fluid? The brakes were my least-favorite part of the last trackday experience, so squishy.

Fluid: Castrol SRF. Fire and forget for 2 years.

Pads: sorry, no silver bullet. Track pads for track, street pads for street. You may be ok with Hawk 5.0 or DS2500 pads, but sooner or later true track pads are in order.

Luckily, Thunderhill East is nowhere near as hard on pads as Laguna, but you still should upgrade from stock.

DS2500s are considered street grade pads a.k.a quiet and decent wet?

Correct. So it’s definitely possible to get fade on brake heavy tracks. But they are known to work well in the street and in the wet.
