I wish Moto-man on YouTube could review it. His channel is so underrated, but he is fantastic!

Can't wait to see Straight Pipes review the M2CS or a better car blogger. Can't stand this Schmee; watched a part of one video he was in a long time ago and that was the last.

PS: One comment on the 245/265 sizes, besides the fender width limits, the BMW engineers wanted a certain balance vs playfulness. I like the M2 Comp being secure in normal driving but plenty of playing with the back end in MDM mode on track for an amateur like me, without the real handful nature of the 1M. If you increase rear tire width and not the front, the balance and playfulness go away. You'd hear folks complain of understeer.
Fully agree with both of your comments. I do not understand the negativity towards Shmee. His driving skills might be limited but he is a true enthusiast and still get a lot of fun behind the wheel. There are millions of people playing and enjoying football without being anywhere close to the level of a professional player. So what ?

As for the size of tires you summed it perfectly, the car balance and chassis reactivity is perfect on curvy back roads (that is where this car will put a big smile on your face)... Larger tires would kill this.

It used to be you needed a proper tv personality to succeed... now it turns out you need money and access... he is first to everything and can easily get views, thats his success...

Used to watch him a lot. But it's too superficial and the endless I bought another supercar got a bit old.

Prefer officially gassed/living life fast sort of stuff.

Shmee living the life though!

OG & LLF film taking liberties on public roads - low rent chancers.

Given the distractions/illegality around mobile phone use in UK - talking to camera whilst driving like a tw@t is a bandwagon that too many vloggers are jumping on.

Some are not that bright - posting vlogs bragging about 100-200 times on road beggars belief.....

I think it's mainly his voice, I feel embarrassed when I open his video and forget to mute.

Sounds like a teenager introducing himself

Not as well-known, but I believe SavageGeese is better than all of those guys. He isn't fond of BMW's overall direction, but really liked the M2C. And yes, he comes into reviews with a pessimistic view, as the car industry is going away from driver oriented cars... especially BMW.

To avoid having tearing out your ear bells, just fast forward to 7:50 for a clip on the M2 CS:

Must admit, I think the M8C is the best looking car in BMWs current lineup.

Would I buy one, no, not at this stage in my life. Nonetheless, BMW really did a great job with the M8C.

Regarding the M2CS, I THINK what Shmee was saying is that Misano Blue looks better under the showroom lights than it does out on the road/track.

That M8C is now parked alongside my M2C in my garage downstairs.

Absolutely love it. I would never buy it, but it is brilliant.

Shame150 is such a pain! How is it that two of the nerdiest guys (Shmee and Doug Demuro) get follows and views. I'm a huge fan of Chris Harris because the guy is a great personality, enjoys both new and old, and he can actually wheel.

I got to hand it to him though, Shmee has been doing YouTube a long LONG time, and it worked out for him. His garage is impressive, and even if he doesn't drive them all the time, he still does the job that we wish we could all do.

The problem that I have with the M8 is the price is in 911 Carrera S territory. A BMW in 911 territory is going to suffer low sales. I find the Mercedes AMG GT a fine car but again, I can't pick it over a 911 when price is equal.
