What does everyone think about this product?

Sorry to bring a super old thread up.
I've been looking at something like this for my DD. Looks like cardboard (but is apparently nomex). So I assume it's rather sacrificial in nature, but would at least in theory help reduce damage to the radiator itself. I'm curious how it holds up in the rain. Anyone else have experience with this stuff? |

Do you go offroad often? I'd also be concerned about decreased airflow.
