Can we delete stuff like parking sensors and cameras? I hate the pock marks on the bumper, I'd rather save the weight, and I already know how to park. I was thrilled that I could order my M240i without this stuff.

Not sure if it depends on the market. US market has a bunch of stuff included in the standard specs.

Folks in the US, Northeast; you guys noticing any "market adjustments" on the M2C or the dealers didn't catch on yet to the demand?
Find a reputable dealer! You can find many doing MSRP!

A 'reputable dealer' sounds like a oxymoron.. J/K

I guess I'll take a road trip to the boondocks after more details starts emerging but I already know when the journalist being submitting their reviews, the demand will skyrocket.

Well you have plenty of topics here stating who marks them up and who doesn't.

The car isn't gonna fall in your lap either, you need to do your due diligence..

M2C has been making a lot of noise for a while now. I put money at two dealers over 2 months ago. If you are proactive you will find a dealer that doesn't mark them up and will eventually get you one.

So finally worked all the details!

I got the text that I had an allocation available on my name on 6/14 but wasn't able to go by until Monday this week.

On Monday we laid down initial numbers but had a brain fart and brought my 135i to work that day so couldn't work trade details.

Went by next day and everything lined up and left the current M2 at the dealer.

Week 40 build, October Delivery.

Doing ED + PCD.. need to start reading thread on ED to get some pointers!

Left the current M2 at the dealer, with all that extra equipment? Week 40 is going to mean Nov delivery if you're lucky, I'm week 37 and that's what I expect. I guess you could get your hands on it sooner with ED, but you'll also be a lot closer to winter in Germany. Would be curious to hear how you made out on the trade.

Left at dealer with most of the items.

I wasnt able to do ED on the M2 because of timing. Its time for vacations and I have wanted to go to Europe for a long time. This works perfect for me.

Need to figure out when ED gets setup with respect to build date.

I did good on the trade, will just say I walked with 6K to be used towards the M2 Competition.

Buying the M2 at MSRP and financing at 0.9% definitely helped my odds.

Build week 40, which is exaggeration as I have confirmed pickup for the 1st of October.

Cheers! And glad it worked out!

My salesperson told me to pick 3 dates to relay and he told me which one got confirmed. Maybe ask your salesperson?

This executive package bull crap is so frustrating. The only reason they included the adaptive LED upgrade in the package was to bait everyone into spending the money on it.
Not all of us need a damn heated steering wheel, let alone all the other garbage they threw in there.

it was the same in the previous M2. It's only 1200 for the package. If you purchase without the package I am pretty sure you will spend more just buying the headlamps and upgrading.

Just bite the bullet, the headlights themselves are worth it. The speed info is also nice to have.

Just about every model has some package you are almost forced into getting. On the bright side the adaptive led aren’t shoved in a $2100 Exec Pack like the M4.

Then you have Porsche who does options a la carte, but they get accused of nickel and diming.

For what it's worth, the parking sensors and cameras weigh basically nothing and the car is already wired for them. It would be nice if they weren't so visible though.

You don't want the Porsche model. Porsche just uses options to advertise a crazy low base price that you'll never even come close to.

The 987.2 Cayman still had halogen headlights by default!
