Would love to see you come within 10 seconds of that time with the same car.

The car has minimal mods and this was a lot more driver skill than car.

Minimal mods ??

Aktuelles Setup M2-LT:
- KW Clubsport 3-fach Laptime-Performance Setup
- AKRAPOVIC Evolution
- Spoilerlippe Carbon
- Heckflügel GT4 mit hohen Füßen
- RECARO Pole Position
- OZ Leggera 19" mit Sport Maxx Race oder ATS GTR 18" mit Pirelli TrofeoR
- Wagner Ladeluftkühler
- Leistungssteigerung auf 415PS/570NM

Suspension
Front and rear aero
Race seat
Trofeo R tires
Tune

Any one of these above will get you a couple of seconds over a stock car on your local track and probably 3-4 in this run.

Can someone clarify for me the difference between "bridge to gantry" and the Nordschleife?

And what part is open to tourists?

I suspect that many of us here, with that car, couldn't get within 30 seconds of that time, possibly even more.

The one thing learned from having a car on the track a few times was that it's rarely the car that is the rate-limiting step, and far more likely the driver.

He's pretty damn good.

Makes me miss Germany that much more. Well done.

And to answer the question about Tourist days, only passing on the left is allowed because German driving rules apply.

As Bim2er said earlier difference is a bit over 1.7km. I am guessing that might equate to about 22 seconds?? Someone chime in here on my speculation.

But it looks to me he still had time up the sleeve when he had to wait to pass on corners so not a clean lap there.

Thanks for the clarification from a fellow South Carolinian! (I've been ex-patriated to a less than desirable state... For now )

Awesome driving!

How would you compare the feel of the M2 to the e90 and f80 versions of its big brother?

Awesome vid! Reminds me of the old RUF Yellow Bird video around the ring.
