Ironic, because I really don't like Yas Marina at all. It just doesn't look good in real life IMO. LBB on the other hand, is stunning. The pictures don't even do this color justice.

Yikes, I liked the press photos a bit, but the car is just so awkward with that front bumper.

The front bumper is the best part IMO.

Yas marina Blue belongs on a flashy Camry.

Long Beach Blue is much better in my opinion for an actual sports car

Agreed, there is none of that "Little Mermaid" green sheen to it in these photos.

I'm happy to see "joy of driving" once again be the primary purpose of a car made by BMW.

BTW, someone will make a small fortune on reflector replacement on the rear bumper.
3500 lbs is sure a big joy

dont they make jaguar f type now with a 6 speed manual which is also 3500lbs. thats a pretty joy to look at least IMO.

Those exh tips look different from the ones in the press release (which look just like the oem 1M- including the pass side being crooked/tilted up to the right).

Could this possibly have the M Perfomance exhaust? Could just be the lighting...

And I sound like a broken record, but I LOVE IT! I'll take mine in Interlagos Blue please.

The M2 seems like a lightweight compared with my F10, ha!

And yeah, the Jag is one of the most beautiful cars on the road. I could stare at that all day long.

Color is always an interesting one. It definitely has to do with personality types and personal preference. Usually, in design arguments, I will go on some ruthless bit (an engineer, I can't help it) and why I think something may be better or worse. With color, it truly is just a personal matter. You simply can't fault someone for loving forest green, or if somebody loves orange, or whatever. It might be an atrocity to one person, but to another it is their favorite thing. I see Alpine White bmws and just find them to be the most beautiful and think it displays the attributes of the car the best, especially in aggressive trims. I have always liked the contrasty storm trooper type look though, sharp, crisp. the blue, just annoys me. It is just too... blue. Hahaha. I mean it is ok to look at. but would I want to own it.. no.

Perfection to me, minus the wheels, would just leave stock. And would prefer the Terra Interior

Agreed. I can't really say crap because I like Austin Yellow (about the most polarizing standard color you can get from BMW).

With a BMW M though, I just feel like you need to try to go with a unique color. It just works well with the more aggressive look.

But to be honest, you really can't go wrong with any color... ok apart from brown.

I prefer the front end of the m2 over the m3/4 because the headlight does not touch the grill
