Anything over 75 and I’m probably out or will flip my allocation. The 981 GT4s are heading to the 70s, the new one I spec out at 116, 991.1 GT3s are heading to 100s by the end of winter. So many choices, so many fails in pricing by BMW lately.

I think they will slide in price. I see the bottom at 90. I see the top of the market in 12 months at 110 (for the few 16s there are out there).

If you look at the anagram, the only possible days you can get with the available letters is one, four and six. So, yeah, sounds like something on the 6th. Artemis hasnt replied yet so....

Artemis,
I'd pay more if it was San Marino instead of Misano! *********

Why is it so difficult if your special ordering a car to not have it painted in any color you want for a nominal up charge? |

The problem, I believe, is that the paint shops at the Leipzig plant (where all M2s are made) aren't updated or perhaps don't have the space for color changes like the plants that the M3/4, M5/6/8s come from (Munich, etc.)

Fast doesn't always equal fun. But fun feels fast.

Today I was informed by a BMW dealer contact that prices were expected to start from 950.000 SEK Swedish krona or €88.000 incl VAT. This would correspond to roughly €70.000 excl VAT. For me it is higher than I had hoped for.
However, since I am a potential customer for a M2Comp it might be tactics to get me close the deal on that car instead? Future will tell.

So that's in line with previous estimates of 90-95k including VAT. Glad to see it's at lower end. Also makes sense when compared to magazine article with as tested price around 105k. 88k+ 12k CCB+ 5k DCT?
I think this raises hope for a sub 80kUS starting price. Last edited by medphysdave; 10-18-2019 at 08:24 AM.. |
