Thanks. have you seen the actual Hockenheim Silver Metallic colour because as far as I know it has not been released by BMW hence my speculation. I'll do a silver with more blue in it...

All we have is the partial picture that's posted earlier in the thread, and SCOTT posted one of those little squares of the HKS color in one of these threads. I will see if I can find where he did that...

My M2 has been at the dealer for the last 2 days because of a rattle in the MPE, I had a M3 comp as a courtesy car, it drove nice but it sounded rubbish. If the new M2 comp sounds the same as the M3 I won't be rushing to buy one. The service guy brought my car around and it made me smile and I heard a couple say that sound nice.

Yes I know but he said M4 seats and brakes are a must-have. All I'm saying is the current M2 already has M4 brakes. If he meant bigger M4 brakes, it's only possible via CCBs in an M4 and I don't think M2 Comp will get those CCBs as an option. BMW will probably offer 6 piston front and 4 piston rear steel brakes as an option on the M2 Comp.

It wasn't meant to read like that. I blame myself for quickly typing out a response. I understand what brakes are on current M2.

I was referring to new 2NH brake package in vin numbers. They are steel brakes as well, but possibly 6-piston fronts and larger rotors.

OK, here are the corrected colours.

the "new" sunset orange has more terracota tone to it. I colour matched to a pic or a 235i in that colour outdoors (in the dealership under artificial light this colour will appear much darker).

For the elusive Hockenheim Silver, I colour matched it to a E46 CSL silver, which is a classic BMW silver with more blue tones than my initial one. Hope the real Hockenheim silver is close to it...
