For those running BM3 Stage 2 in ACN?

Quick question for those running BM3 in AZ, CA, and NV. I have FBO and am currently running Stage 2 91 ACN but found a gas station that sells 95 octane gas. So I mixed the 95 octane (1/2 tank) with Shell 91 (1/2 tank) with the thought that this should get me to solid 93 octane. Do you all think it's safe to move to Stage 2, 93 octane that is non ACN or should I just go to Stage 2, non ACN 91 octane map? I'm just concerned about knocking and not sure how to see that in a log. Thanks.

Knock detection is highlighted on BM3 logs - if you get 1-2 random events - nothing to worry about. If your logs show show frequent knock detection consistently then its a cause for concern - probably due to cr@p fuel.

Try the blend as you describe and do some datlogging pulls with 91 stg2 to give you a baseline. Then, switch to 93 stg 2 and drive the car for awhile to gauge how it feels. repeat datalogging pulls and compare - if you see actual boost hitting higher boost targets and ign adv staying high and constant for longer in mid/high rpm range then yr car is happy with yr 91/95 blended fuel.

Keep in mind your 91 is probably more like 89 and who knows on the 95 when you are doing blend math.

My guess is you want to do a full tank of 95 and not blend at all to run a 93 map.

Yes you can do that, no issues.
