OG M2 N55 - Custom Tune vs OTS STG2?

Hi,

Trying to get the opinion regarding for custom tune vs BM3 map. I'm running FBO STG2 setup and OEM turbo, however the gas in Midwest is crap so thinking to have custom tune for the better timing and performance. I have been running OTS STG2 93 Octane map over months, the latest 5.7 has improved the power but I still like to have more and better timing. My friend referred me to Cary Jordan in FL, let me know your custom tune experience. Is the result better than OTS map?

Likewise.

To that end, does anyone here have experience with either Midnight Speed Tuning or RMP Motors in the Toronto, Ontario area?

Thanks!

I run the Active Autowerke track tune for my OG. Not the most aggressive out there but works great on 91 and is super reliable lap after lap after lap... They are also based in Florida.

Pretty sure OP is referring to BM3 tuning only as he is running OTS and wants to know how much better a custom tune would be.

We've had very good results from Cary on the S55 platform (M3/M4 and M2C) on our dynojet. You won't be disappointed.

Hi Tom,

I know current OTS STG2 is quite aggressive in M2, I just like to see if custom tune could be more plus not much timing pulled.

Talk to Cary, he'll be happy to explain everything involved and provide logs.

Have you tried 91 octane stage 2? I heard logs on those can be cleaner for those having issues with octane.

I did and yes the log was cleaner, however the power delivery and performance wasn't great as I need....
