I can confirm that the Speedtech kit fits the M2. I have the larger 8374 installed and it just barely fits. Spool is quick with full boost around 3,400 RPM’s. I’m just finishing up my tuning and will have dyno numbers soon.

I highly recommended this kit based on quality, performance and reliability! Jeff at Speedtech provided exceptional customer service.

That's good to know. You should start a thread with your build.

Hey guys just curious are we able to do a stage 2 pure turbo with out changing anything else. Will our engine handle it, in terms of internals and all that.

Impressive result without meth aid.

This turbo spools 1000rpm quicker than pure stage 2 while making similar power.

Did you dyno the pump gas map?

Congrats!

Can you share a dyno graph that shows this 1000rpm difference? Everything I've seen has these turbos generating a similar curve with spool being very similar as well.

Hey guys would a pure turbo stage 2 be a direct bolt on with nothing else needed? No hpfp or intake being upgraded? This is of course running regular fuel. Are our cars able to take the stage 2 without upgrading anything else?

A PS2 turbo will definitely run out of fuel if you push it over 20psi on regular pump fuel. I'm not sure exactly what the limit is, but everyone I know (myself included) upgrades the HPFP when upgrading the turbo. You'll also want to upgrade the turbo inlet (Pure makes one) while you're in there and the diverter valve (GFB DV+ or Turbosmart).

Thanks for the reply! What hpfp do you end up going with?

We're both running the XDI-35 HPFP.

There are two other options aside from the one we have, Dorsch Engineering and Spool Performance both offer upgraded HPFP's.

Looking at purchasing the TTE550. Can anyone possibly tell me their experience with this turbocharger in comparison to stock? Mainly on lag. TIA

I'd be skeptical you could fit something like that with the turbo mounted in a stock location.

It would be too mounted, and with runners that long you'll get alot more lag.

Turbosystems from Latvia

https://www.google.com/maps/uv?pb=!1...oiowJnoECDEQAw

Bolt-on upgrade turbocharger for BMW models with N55 engine. Comes in two options - Stage 1 and Stage 2.

Stage 1 features:

improved bearing system helps hold heavy loads where standart bearings would fail;
new billet compressor wheel. This enlarged impeller with improved design helps achieve wanted boost easier. Due to its better material and special production processes it is more reliable when used under high pressure;
upgraded turbine wheel with shaft from stronger material and improved design. Enlarged base provides better flow;
machined and fully refurbished housings;
every rotating part of the turbocharger balanced, after full assembly turbocharger is ballanced on VSR;

Power range: 550 HP

Stage 2 features:

standart bearings replaced with dual ceramic ball bearing systems. It helps turbocharger spool better and allows to reach results faster.
new billet compressor wheel. This enlarged impeller with improved design helps achieve wanted boost easier. Due to its better material and special production processes it is more reliable when used under high pressure;
upgraded turbine wheel with shaft from stronger material and improved design. Enlarged base provides better flow;
machined and fully refurbished housings;
every rotating part of the turbocharger balanced, after full assembly turbocharger is ballanced on VSR;

Stage 2 power range: 600+ HP

Great turbines. I have their production in the RS6 C7.5, in the M2, admittedly TTE, but now I would install Turbosystems. I recommend.
