Pure turbo stg2 question

I bought a new pure turbo stage 2 from someone local. After doing some research I discovered that there’s a difference is n55 m2 vs n55 turbo.
The one I have is from 435 core n55.
Should I install it? / sell it?/ and whats the Disadvantage and is there any advantages in M2 turbo?
Thanks

Turbofold is meant to be different on the M2, better flowing. The core charge is also different on the m2 version to the regular n55’s.

I’d reach out to pure and see what they say the differences are.

Guys, they're the same turbo. I asked this question explicitly when I ordered my PS2. In fact, I sent in a turbo from another n55 for the core and they were totally cool about it not being an M2 specific turbo.

Good to know
I asked a pure turbo dealer/ known BMW Mechanic about the turbo and he said.
It doesn’t matter after pure turbo get a hold of it, they make them the same turbo.

The turbo manifold is different - The M2 is supposedly has a less restrictive manifold.

Is it better to sell it and start over with a new M2 turbo?

I can't imagine it would be, but the last word will be had by Pure. Call them.

I got a reply back from pure turbo and they said they are the exact same turbo and also the manifold is the same.
The only difference is the DV (I have to use the one from my car )
The only (n55 turbo ) different is 535I they have different wastewater arm.

Unless they now modify the turbofolds to a point that they are the same, seems kinda shady. When the N55 M2 came out they stated on their tear down of the turbo that the turbofold was freer flowing, also part of the justification of charging people DOUBLE for the core.

I hope it’s a case that they modify the turbofold to the point they are the same and you are all sorted.
