PNW Meetup and drive on Saturday 11/27

Hey everyone, looking to have a meetup before the weather turns even worse. Thinking we could meet up somewhere centrally like Bellevue, Redmond, or Woodinville and we can caravan up to La Conner for lunch. La Conner has some really fun roads going into town. It's about a 1 hour drive from Bellevue.
It's a quaint town, so if you have a SO who is into stuff like that, bring them. My wife like's the little shops.

Checking Accuweather, the weather looks like it may comply and be fairly calm.
If we get a head count, we can even make reservations at a restaurant.
Let me know if you are interested in this thread. And please set your preference of where you would like to meet up on the Eastside.

Interested. Anywhere on the eastside is fine by me for a starting point. Would be nice if we don't start any earlier than 10AM.

I'm interested if the weather is decent.

I might suggest the route planner(s) consider High Bridge to 203, then Ben Howard to Sultan then north to Granite Falls via Lake Roesiger. We usually stop at Skookum Brewery in Arlington.

bummer! i signed up for a golf tourney since i had reply getting together this weekend for a drive early post. really want to take the CS out for a long drive.. oh well next time guys and have fun

Golf is expensive, unsign up yourself and come drive around.

Some one should predrive this event. Snoqualmie valley has been literally under water this week. Ben Howard road is notorious for flooding.

Not sure you actually want to try going in that direction.

Good call, let's see what happens in the next few days. If everything dries up, we can still be good to go. We can play it safe by simply taking the freeway up to town and driving in. I did see that there was some flooding in Mt. Vernon this past week so let's hope it eases off a bit.

Screw the Freeway

Going up HWY-9 takes 5 minutes longer and has some great twists alone the way

Hmm. Highway 9 has closures as of today.

I think you guys need to wait a week or two to let the locals clean up the streets from the flooding and down trees.

Agreed. High Bridge is our backyard, so the suggestions I have to Sultan-I'd be happy to check prior if the group or whomever decides to steer this direction.

Some areas are still currently under water but this weekend's perfect weather will likely clear it.

I'll check back, normally I'm in the e9X side of the house.

Well, let's do a pulse check, does anyone want to do the drive in the rain? I'm guessing since people tend to drive a little more spirited during events like this, it doesn't make much sense in going tomorrow. Let's just cancel and look for better weekends.
