I had them replaced under warranty. There is a thread in the comp section but want to raise awareness as our warranties are running out.

I was also lucky to get a final oil change and spark plugs replaced under covered maintenance

Nice, how were you able to convince them to do the plugs?

My service guy did the plugs. Just volunteered it. Had 5k miles on the car

I have the cracked radio button issue too Dave. What part button do you request to have it done under warranty?

I just told them they were cracked. The looked at the picture. Confirmed in the car, and handled it. I'll see if it has the parts on the invoice.

I didn't know it was due for plugs, they told me they were going to change them. I think some items are changed at mileage intervals or time intervals.

Is it from pressing them too hard/often?
Cold weather?
Spontaneous defect?

Common issue across F series, it's just fragile from pressing them too much.

I've had mine replaced under warranty and stopped using the shortcut buttons to avoid them cracking again.
