M2CS Eisennman Exhaust

Alright so I was finally able to get a decent in the garage exhaust video and a small road video for you guys. For anyone curious there is no drone with this setup what do ever and both videos were done in Sport+ mode. In effiecent you do not get the breakdown of the exhaust so it’s very civilized.

AA Gesi Catted downpipes
AA Equal Length Midpipes
Eisennman Valved Exhaust

Enjoy.

Sounds great! I was very close to doing the AA cats, still might. Exterior under load videos are in the link below. I suspect your car likely sounds 10% louder than this.

Sounds great, are your mid pipes resonated or non resonated?

If you change the down pipes, they recommend going with resonated midpipes IIRC

Agreed. Full catless with no resonators really emphasizes the rasp, especially if it's not an EL or single mid.

Lmao at the excitement at the end... Love it! I bet the vids don't do it justice. I have the Remus Race + AA EL Non-Res, and in videos, it didn't sound much louder than stock, but in person, it's about a 40% increase.

I added these to my set up and it amplified the glorious sound. IMO, the best sounding S55 set up.

I've never heard the S55 sound great... until I heard the Eisennman Exhaust. It even looks better than any other offering out there too. Simply wish they made one for the S58 in my X3 M. One can only dream right...

AA Gesi Catted downpipes
AA Equal Length Midpipes
Eisennman Valved Exhaust....
FYI NPTM....

Digging up this old post to ask an install related question. omak81 & M3R1 did you guys have any fitment issues with the AA EL Midpipe and the Eisenmann exhaust and there being too big of a gap between the end of the AA connecting pipes and the ends of the Eisenmann backbox pipes?

Here's why I ask since I already have an AA EL mid installed on my M2C with the factory backbox.....
When I compare the suggested cut marks for the AA EL Midpipe on their instructions vs the suggested cut marks of the Eisenmann exhaust it seems like there will be a gap possibly suggesting some extra pipe may need to be welded on to close that gap?
It was tough to find any Eisenmann install instructions online but did find this post with screen shot of install guide from Eisenmann --> https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...1&postcount=59
Their cut marks of 90mm and 190mm from the weld on resonator is much greater vs AA EL Midpipe instructions of 38mm (passenger side) and 158mm (drivers side) again suggesting that there will be a gap when using a AA EL midpipe with the Eisenmann. Any input either of you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Zero issues it was perfect figment and it’s the best sounding setup I’ve ever heard on these cars. Including the AA resonated downpipes.

It's been a while since my exhaust was installed, however I am 96% sure that there needed to be extra pipe added between the sections. Any good shop will be able to get it done. The guys at AUTOcouture Motoring did mine without issue. Click on my build link a few posts above and you will see two pics of the exhaust and the sections between them.

As omak81 said, the sound is absolutely perfect. Clean inline 6 sound with zero rasp. I would not hesitate, you will not be disappointing.

You will definitely need to weld in an extension on that one side.

OK thanks guys, so I was gonna DIY this one but I’ll just bring it to a shop and knock it out in one shot (back box swap and connector pipe extension). Appreciate all the help / guidance, thank you!
