Haha. A few too many wines. I saw this video and it just resonated as I own the CS and an Aston which are both stunning in their own way. I’m just very impressed with the direction Aston has taken here. Beautiful evolutionary styling. BMW could easily have gone with same approach. I’m not specially calling out the M2, it’s just about every new BMW model bar that amazing concept shooting brake which I love.

I very much dislike the everything touch screen direction BMW have gone with. Buttons are so much better for things that you use a lot. Also, the digital dash on the new Aston has gorgeous hi res gauges that look just like the aluminium gauges in mine. BMW has chosen some weird concept that looks like a PlayStation. Imagine lovely orange hued classic BMW gauges as an option. At least something that is circular.

I mostly agree with this. Have you seen the 992 GT3 RS cluster? I love that. The analog gauge is the only way to go for the tach, and I like how they surrounded it. None of the digital gauges do it for me. BMWs is at least fluid, but if you want to give me a digital gauge I want super high resolution and like 120 FPS. I saw a Ferrari SF90 video and the framerate of the tachometer was kind of embarrassing.

Part of me likes that BMW is trying something that isn't a fake analog tach, but it could be done better.

F87 M2 CS has a better lap time and is more fun to drive:

That was a good video. Love that channel. Thomas is a true “car guy”. He’s also so bloody Canadian. How could anyone not like a Canadian. James is there for his sense of humour which often makes me laugh out loud. Great team.

I’m in America and I saw one the other day. It was after a few beers. It actually looks great in real life. Even pretty good in my drunken photos. BMW should hire me to take photos. They can pay me in German beer.

Apparently this guy feels G87 owners should laugh at the F87 CS owners down the street because it has a little less HP and cost so much more.

Let's just say even if he didn't say stupid crap throughout the review. I can't stand his delivery, almost like the Dice man doing a review. As if he is going to bust out a rated R nursery rhyme in the middle of driving it.

oof .. owner parked too close to the curb. That would give me anxiety. It's plausible, it's a lease so no füks given.

He's alright and I get a good chuckle on most of his humor comments like the stuff you can fit on the door pockets and center console. The comment he made was just a slight jab to entice some folks who likes this Lego. Not really expecting much with his content other than knowing the basics and changes. He made great comments about the F87 M2CS at an autoshow before it was released.

[QUOTE=E46M3forRay;30035964]The new G87 m2 looks good in person but not as sexy as the F87 M2CS. Pretty much seals it for me and holding on to my cs.

Attachment 3155855

I know which one would be going home with me at the end of the night. (hint, its not the fat friend)

I'm in the camp where the G87 is not for me, but I'm sure it's an amazing machine. I like that the F87 already looks like a classic design.

The modern era is incredible. I still have my 69 charger. In high school I was shooting for 500hp for bragging rights. Lol. However, I'm from the generation that has me looking for a nice IROC.
