It sounds truly great! Not sure if it would be more fun at road speeds though. Depends on the M car I guess.

And cheers to you bro, if I had the money to have a CS, modify it, and drive it like it should be driven I'd be a happy man. |

I don’t see any point in selling it. There is nothing else worth getting for the money.
I considered selling and getting a GR Corolla or Civic Type R only because I would drive those more guilt free and probably have more fun in the process. However those cars are marked up so much it doesn’t make sense to pay 60k and over for cars of that caliber. If you got a CS at MSRP you lucked out. The market went bonkers after and you can’t get anything comparable for the same spend now |

This may be the only manual CS BMW, and the last one with DCT. Combined with a fun chassis and engine. While many believed the car was expensive for what it is, it looks like it was a reasonable price and there is not much that compares to it at that price point.
I wanted a manual, blue steel brake with gold wheels M2 and am so happy that I was able to find it out of state and pick it up in Spartanburg in the spring - one of the last ones built. My buddy has a regular Corvette and used to be a M car guy. For the price he paid, you get a lot of car, and it has its own fun factor for sure! |

I share this exact sentiment man. Bought my car at 5k miles, at 12.5 in 6 months. Daily driven. First thing I did was full exhaust with stock dp. It already has kw has but down the line I might get proper coilovers. That's probably the extent of the modifications though as I feel it's nearly perfect out of the factory

It happens with every car—-did you think the M2 CS was immune to this??
Most of the 1Ms on sale today have between 3-5 owners. Why? Because people with $$ often do things to check boxes, not because they actually care about the details. It’s a side effect of a consumerist market as well as a part of modern car culture which has become increasingly about the “flex” rather than the function. Some of us buy cars to drive the hell out of them, but to me it seems like so many people buy them to post photos, get them detailed, do customized little mods, flex them, and then sell them. Weird and sad!

Trust me, the M2 CS is one of BMW's all time greats. That doesn't mean it won't be bought and sold.
Just like any other car when it comes to being an tangible asset. Life Happens.

I get bored quickly, the only car I've ever kept for over two years was the 1M.
Traded it in for a 991.1...big mistake as I missed it badly. The 1M (Valencia) ended up in California somewhere. I'm in Canada.

Got my headlights refurbed and blacked out. Picking em up tomorrow and going straight for a PPF. Hated all the silver and chrome stuff and it was due anyway as It was all cracked and pitted from track and road debris

Never had an issue with mine.
The trick is to steam the old PPF off.

That's not the issue. Even my PPF guy won't do it on my Macan GTS headlights. I know a guy who had this occur on his 991.2 GT3. It's still an issue.
