not expecting much out of this forum

So on start up, n first moving forward my m2 c really squeaks
It’s been lowered n had spacers by previous owner
Cud that be a issue?
I don’t drive it every day, so cud being left n seizing up a bit be a factor to this?
If I’m using it all day n going place to place I don’t think it does it again

Reason for title is I find this forum very quiet compared to other car ones I’ve been in,

Does it make a noise if you turn the steering before moving off? If so, it might be the suspension top mounts.

If it's only when the car moves, it's probably just the brakes. Find an empty stretch of road and stand on the brake pedal from 60mph a few times to clean up the discs and pads. I find the brakes rust up quite quickly if the car has not been used for a day or two.

If there's play in the mount then that should be picked up in the MOT, if it's just dry and creaking then it's not an issue.

If you can determine what side it's coming from jack it up and see if there's any movement in the strut. If there is, it would be wise to get it looked at as it'll only get worse leading to weird handling, uneven tyre wear etc.
