I actually like the orange stitching but I may be biased. I have a HS with Orange Stitch.

I don't really mind the orange stitching too much, but just NOT on the LBB blue car.

And- thanks to BigKutta, I've got a blue stitch, LBB, DCT car arriving tomorrow, being shipped from Virginia, sold at 10% off MSRP. I can't wait- I've gotta get my e30 out of the garage to make room for it.

Congratulations. Nice to see another M2 in the Seattle area. If the BMWCCA M Car days happen this year, you will have to bring it there.

Oh I was there last year, carefully comparing the M2C color options. My FIL has an e36 m3 that was a few cars away from the M2s.

Roughly $1500. Got quotes from 6 different shippers... honestly, 90% of these shipping companies have horror story reviews, so picking one was more about reputation than cost. fingers crossed it arrives damage free.

Look what showed up in the mail today:

She was quite dirty, had to clean her up, polish out a few superficial scratches on the hood, and of course... DRIVE HER!

This has been a very, very long 6 month effort to get this car, between euro delivery, switching to US delivery, cancelling delivery, finding another one, shipping it from across the country, etc... All thanks to BigKutta for finding this one for me!!

Ugh this really made me jealous, the exact color and wheel combo that I would pick! And those pictures really bring out the greatness of LBB. Huge congrats and drive it in good health!

Maybe I need to reach out to BigKutta soon and snag one too haha

Damn, $1,500; I rather risk getting Corona that spend that much, for transport, just on sheer principle.

But it looks awesome and as long as you're happy. Enjoy and pour it strait.

Yep of course you were very kind. Originally I thought MY21 will be released much sooner, however that is not the case. And being stuck indoors, it gave me a lot of time to look at everyone else's beautiful cars.

Hope you and your family are doing well and you're still able to stretch the M2C's legs from time to time.

Daily! I just went on a drive between these posts . Its my one daily therapy during this SIP. Somehow, I think this timing for me was meant to be, at least I can do one fun thing daily by myself. We are all well, hope same with you.

You guys are killing me! I STILL haven't gotten my car and it's less than 200 miles away!!! Hoping the country comes unstuck in the next week or two and I can take delivery.

After many delays, mostly covid related, I took delivery of my M2 yesterday as well. I signed the papers on the 6th of December 2019, production date was the 20th of January 2020. Since we now live in a new world, the delivery was basically me signing papers and them throwing me the keys

I thought I would miss the HUD and 360 cam from my F31, but I really don’t care. Happy I don’t have the stupid wireless charger this time around. More space under the arm rest. Night and day from my 330i… as you can imagine! Such an agressive car yet very easy to play with. Might have pushed it to 6k, will try and keep it under 5.5k

I'm driving stick again after a 7 year hiatus. Drove stick all my life aside from two F31s (2014 diesel and 2017 330i), so it just took a few minutes to get it all back. Feels great to be back. Rev match is cool.

The reasons for getting this car where that life is too short (a few people have been dying around me… new perspective) and the fact that the M2 is an old school formula. 6MT, RWD and lots of power.

congrats from a fellow canuck with a similar story.
I signed in late november, was supposed to get it late feb, but then the cn rail protests delayed it. It finally arrived march 14th and then the shut down loomed. I was very nervous things would close before it could be delivered, but I got it march 19th, and the dealership closed 5 days later.

I am enjoying it very much (it was also a return to manual for me after 2 years) and thank my lucky stars I was able to get it despite all that is going on. It is keeping me sane in these times, when my other outlets (soccer, the gym, eating out) are gone.

After just 320kms I can say that: I don't miss the HUD, 360 cam one bit (thought I would), noticed that this is based on 2 series (no ambiant lighting, no speakers in the rear doors, no EQ with the HK system), surprized that the kids fit well in the back (4 & 5 year old girls), you really hear the added cooling start with Sport+. Coming from a 330i F31, this car sounds amazing! I sure the guys coming from Hellcats and Lambos think otherwise, but I am very happy with the sound. MDM mode rocks. Love the fact that the car comes with real tires, runflats suck the big one. The brakes a comically huge and work very well for sure. The suspension is stiff, but in some ways it's better then my F31 with 19 inch runflats. Also don't miss the adaptive suspenion. Probably way to sift for track, but I really like the setup for street. Trying to keep it under 5.5k...

We thought pretty hard about flying out and driving it back... ultimately we shipped for 3 reasons:
1) all the hotels, museums, parks, and restaurants are closed
2) 2700 mile drive, would haveto schedule in the break in maintenance somewhere in the middle of the country and take an extra day
3) wanted to get paint protection film on it before it saw that many miles

shrug. the costs for the drive were around $700 with zero hotels, between gas food and other costs, and probably not doable without hotels.
