I love the shot mark, but those coins at the front that are over exposed are killing it for me.

any chance you could crop that out? or turn it into profile so you can keep the out of focus area at the front of the image but not the over exposed?

Yeah, I didn't like that either. Some coins just caught the light wrong. Let me see if I can reframe or use a different shot.

any way to recompose the first image, but just remove the offending coins?

this shot is better in that there's no offending light, but your original was just more appealing.

I do still like the shot, but the first one just had the perfect touch. Aside from the obvious.

The highlights on those offending coins in the first pic are hopelessly blown, so there's no leaving them in the image. And cropping out that much results in a digital zoom that sort of ruins the image as well. I can go back and play around with it, or maybe just shoot it again. The coin can is still there (I hope).

depending how much it weights, the offending parties might not make it very far!
