How do you like those Bimmer Masterpieces parts? This is the first I've heard of them and I'm very intrigued.

I really like them. They're little finishing touches. Parts are high quality and easy to fit. And nothing to requires any modification. I just think the parts add nice little touches that could almost be factory type pieces.

They aren't very cheap but everything is handmade and great quality.

Easily one of my favourite builds. Quality pieces everywhere, and very tastefully done. Congrats on your build thus far!

What configuration did you get your AutoSolutions SSK in? I've contacted Ron and I'll be doing OEM height and 20% reduction in throw, along with the CDV delete as well. Can't wait.

Also I'm curious, with that shifter and knob combination, does your transmission make a loud whirring noise after installing the SSK? Noticed one guy mention he found the added noise annoying.

Can't wait to see more pics of this thing.

Glad you like it. Same co figuration I went with. Super happy with the shifter. Speaker to Ron the guy clearly knows what he's talking about and knowing he's been at this for so long have me confidence going that route.

I know the whine you've heard of and if anything I hear something very minimal when shifting into certain gears? But nothing notable enough for me to worry about. I love it.

Also selected the most aggressive bushings he offered and am very happy with those as well.

Highly recommend you do the ultimate clutch pedal as well if you havnt already. The precision and confidence I have in the clutch pedal now is much more than before and I didn't even know that I was unhappy how it was before. With that and the 2 mods you mentioned it's night and day.

I mean, if I'm going to add something to the interior of my M2 or even my F30 I'll pay to have it match OEM quality. Honestly I'd say the prices seem very reasonable. It says they use the same leather and string as BMW. Does this seem to be true?

Agreed which is why I went that route. Same reason I'll she'll out to get parts from IND. you know the quality you're getting.

Yes like I said the parts feel to me very much OEM quality and finish. Super happy with the visors, knee pad and dash cover thing from them!

Great build, quality parts, amazing photos. Most importantly, the massive amount of detailed info and honest unbiased feedback OP provided. from OP's post and all the responds to questions, you can tell OP is not someone who just throws money on parts and have shop install them, but actually do the research, understand how things work, and pick the parts carefully. Also not shy about sharing the experience with others and provide all the resources on hand. Great Job! Followed on Insta immediately!

A lot of great stuffs goes in yet it looks clean! Nice build!

Can't help but notice you went with PS2 upgrade with the M235i but left the M2 stock turbo. Like the stock turbo more?

PSS2 was awesome. But on the m235 I never did any fueling upgrade for it so I never really got what I could from that turbo.

Honestly the m2 is plenty fast right now with stock turbo but maybe down the line. Time will tell.

Thanks for the kind words! I believe that's just the brake lights illuminated.
