Most of what I've seen were decorative carbon fiber lips.
Sure

A lot of aftermarket turners also market plastic front lip. AC Schnitzer is one of them.

I guess they don't care once they've sold the car!
My Lotus Elise has one of these - it's incredibly useful. Every time I pull into my drive I can feel it lightly scrape the tarmac, so lightly it doesn't do any damage.

You will scrape more, because the front lip will make the front lower (but you will scrape the bumper less). Also if the splitter breaks it can also damage your front bumper.

I love the idea, but not for $1100! I'll repaint the bumper a few times for that price.

They're $500 from EAS. They're a forum sponsor so it might even be lower

Have you ever used one?

I have used many and they (those made of plastic/ABS resin) hardly ever break. I have scraped my lower lip countless times and it never breaks!

I got mine fixed - my detailer touched it up, fixed the clear bra, and installed Scrape Armor (I'm not a fan of aftermarket lips) all for $400. You can't even tell it ever happened.

Similar scrape happened to me recently. Pretty small and underneath the car at least but still bummed about it. Im on lowering springs and it happened as I was exiting a gas station. I even angled but I guess the entrance was too steep.

I suppose the best thing to do is touch up. Any proper ways of touching this type of thing up or is it better to take it to a shop?

I wish there was a better selection of front lips for these cars as most of them just don't look very good IMO.

I came across these the other day. They might work for small scrapes. They are paint stickers. Watch the video in the link...

Anyone use the Sliplo product yet?
https://sliplo.com/

I am getting for the M2CS. Its bumper is barely the height of a tall latte cup.

Now that the first scratch is there, don't worry, just enjoy the car and touch up paint. I try to remind myself that 99.9% of the car is still perfect as i also have a bumper scratch.... The only way to keep it perfect is not to drive it....

Haha, got you ALL beat. Picked my ‘20 M2C up on 1/20/20 and scraped the bottom of the lower air dam also. Not noticeable but I know it’s there. I now leave plenty of room when I pull into a space. Oh well. I effing love this car!

I picked up my M2C on 12/22, and on 1/2 I scraped the rear wheel on a curb pulling out of a parking space which I backed into!!!! Those wide hips taught me a lesson early. Anyway, got it repaired yesterday so all good

Hi Mate

I'm wondering if you can please share who did the repair?

I'm located in Melbourne too and desperately looking for someone to fix my bumper.

Appreciated!
