My program doc shows it available through January 2018.

My dealer will honor it for a 2018 model.

This is a copy/paste from my form. I'm getting my car in 3 weeks or so and I'll be getting the 2500 off.

In our case, the company is a supplier to BMW.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the program website now shows that BMW M2 is excluded from the list of vehicles eligible for a discount. I have a friend at work who took delivery in early April and his dealer rejected it based on latest information.

Just verified this. It was definitely included a week or two ago.

Damn, my dealer better honor the price they gave me. I'm taking delivery in June and went with regular delivery over Euro because I could still get the $2500 off.

I purchased my M2 April 17, 2017 and had no problem using it.

You are right, I don't see the M2 any longer.

BMW is constantly updating which vehicles are eligible are not eligible. It's hard to keep up from our side (dealership).

I just spoke to my corporate fleet program director. He said the discount will be honored based on the parameters at the time of the order. Thanks for raising this point and hope that helps others in the same boat.

Thanks for the heads up. My car should be ready in less than 2 weeks. To be sure there'll be no problems, I emailed my fleet contact. If they have to talk to the dealer before the big day to ensure everything goes smoothly, great. Last thing I want is some BS on what should be a really happy day.

It is affiliation with BMW and your current company. If you aren't sure, just reach out to the Fleet manager at a dealer. They can let you know if your company qualifies. I honestly thought my company wasn't part of it, but I was wrong. It definitely is a good amount of savings.

I got good news back from my Fleet guy.

"Yes you are fine with the Vin and the corp incentive as your vehicle was placed in Pri 1 on the 13th of March, well before the cutoff date of Tuesday the 2nd"

So it looks like there IS a cutoff date of April 2nd I'm not entirely sure what PRI 1 is, but that seems to be the status related to the cutoff.

I'm going to be sure to have that email with me when I go in for delivery.

Over now for the M2s.

I picked up my car yesterday and no issue with the fleet discount. It made writing that check a tad easier.

I would guess "Pri 1" means "Priority 1" which is just the order priority code that is listed on the Vehicle Inquiry Report. He likely just means your car was confirmed as ordered prior to the cut-off date.

Just like me, I think you made it by the skin of your teeth. I believe the fleet discount was just eliminated for the M2. Makes sense to me because we were buying very late model year cars. Pretty seldom an OEM would discount a brand new model year car straight out of the gate.
