How to transfer music to hard drive?

Is it possible to download the music from my iPhone directly to the cars hard drive? If so how can I do this? Or is there another route to take?

Nope. I tried and tried. Had to go to iTunes and copy my library over to the thumbdrive, then transfer from the thumbdrive to the car. It actually worked really really well. Just a drag/drop from i-tunes to the thumbdrive. Plug the thumbdrive in and the car walks you through the rest. It pulled over all my music, album covers, etc. Worked great!

I do not know if iphone is different, but I can directly from phone. Problem is that internal hard drive is not very big. So, I just end up using flash drives and external hard drives instead.
