'Secret' digital display menu

I may be late to this game, but has anyone played around with the options in this menu? To access the menu:

1. Hold down the 'reset miles' button in the dash until the menu pops up
2. Tap the button until the 'unlock' option appears
3. Hold the 'reset miles' button to select
4. Enter the number that equals the sum of the last 5 digits of your VIN (E.x 12345 = 15)
5. Hold 'reset miles' button again to enter number

This opens up a whole lot of options, which I have NOO idea how to use most of. One that IS nice is an actual temp for Oil.

Would love to hear what other 'gold' may be hidden in here.

Would be nice if it permanently stayed unlocked but i believe you would have to go through the process of unlocking it each time you start the car.

Would love an option to take more advantage of the display and have more options on the screen at once

Daily this might be a pain but for a trackday this is great to keep an eye on various temps. Do they stay on whilst driving?

It should be similar to the F30 menu.
This one is in English

Or just install a vent gauge. 10 minute install and gives you all the dsta you need including coolant and oil temp.

Where did you get that? Is the rest of that vent usable after the install?

Also got a P3 gauge and pleased with it. Sober, discreet and easy to operate.

Also remedies in an alternative way the nuisance of the poor readability of the M2 analog dials under particular overcast lighting conditions + only occupies half of the air vent near the door (lower half still functions). 15 minute install (nothing cut - rather plug & play).

I tried this on my M2 as well as on our Touring. It really works. I just don't know how to turn it off other than shutting down the engine and restarting to revert back to normal display.

The water & oil temps are most useful. I noticed normal operating temps are between 102-110degC for both.
