Any idea what the equivalent of Permit B is in the US? I qualify for an SCCA racing license, I'm just not an SCCA member or I'd have it

Thinking about picking up an M235iR here next year, might just wait for the m2csR
Sorry, I can't find much info on a Permit B other then what I linked below. Maybe your instruction or liaison to the track can fill you in the requirements.

I wish my M2C did, it's nice to be able to feel the oil between your fingers and smell it, I'm not joking.

Missing that oil dipstick on my M2C

Should have made it standard...electronic oil-level gauge is slow to gather data and prone to error if the sensor is not at 100%...with a dipstick I can accurately validate the oil level in 10 seconds

Im sorry, I dont recall! But being a dedicated track car I would think they dialed in Hub and Wheel offset to not need spacers.

Based on location I guess that's the transmission dip stick

+1

I'm hoping the lower mesh grilles will be available and a relatively straightforward retrofit for the standard M2 C front bumper

Should offer considerably more protection for the coolers

Nope real deal engine oil dipstick

https://www.apmotorsport.co.uk/produ...4-dipstick-kit

DCT trans has no dipstick, you check the oil level in roughly the same way as a manual trans or diff (ie oil out the top hole).

Man, I'd love to retrofit the M2 racing version (if not the same as this one) to the car!

Seeing as the M4 GT4 has a basically stock S55 it'll bolt right up to an M2C which has the same engine compartment (99% certain).

Does that kit change the oil pan or just tap into it. I believe the GT4 holds just slightly more oil than the M2C S55.
