Figuring out invoice via MSRP

My car MSRP'd at $57,760 - how do I figure what it invoiced at or can anyone provide an estimate based on this MSRP?

Go to KBB.com. Price a new BMW M2 with your color and options. It will give you invoice, fair sales price and MSRP.

I estimate that is approximately $54,000 invoice.

Invoice price is only part of the equation. Dealers receive other kinds of compensation from the manufacturers on the sale of vehicles. A dealer selling at invoice price is still making at least a gross profit on the sale of the car. How much "net" profit they make is going to be based on other factors such as their overhead.

Also remember, if the dealer ordered the car with any M performance parts, the invoice on those is about 20%. Often times dealers just take off 6-7% off of MSRP and claim they are giving you the invoice deal for a car that has shit load of M Performance stuff.

His car’s MSRP is $57,760. It doesn’t have M Performance parts on it.
