The original Shooting Brake ... VW GTi?

OK, not really ... The Jaguar E-Type (best looking car ever produced, IMHO) ... followed by the MGB GT in the late 1960s (first pic), then the Volvo 1800ES in the early 70s second pic):

With the M2 blueprint it should be a lot cheaper to churn one from the base M135i?!!
