BMW M2 CS Specs: 445 HP, Manual/DCT Transmission, CF Roof, and more...

There is also a M2 Track Cup scheduled for production in the future, similar to the M4 GT4, i.e. not road legal. HP is rumored at 470 hp. 1st hand knowledge from Arjeplog, Sweden.

Ah, because the S55 doesn't already produce that kind of HP else where? I guess people will be paying extra for the roof and badging?

I sure hope it will include the other carbon bits, like the fenders, trunk/boot, and hood/bonnet, and different wheels.

I don't get it. How are they making claims about an interior no one has seen?

An honest to god 6MT?! That's surprising, looks like BMW may actually be listening. This car will be a must have, I would hate to be a Competition owner right about now

On another note, I don't really understand the inclusion of Misano Blue as a colour; it's so flat looking, & BMW already offers so many nicer blues, so I'm just not sure why they wouldn't throw something more interesting into the mix.

Great! This is quite a game-changed them offering a manual for the CS.. I guess they saw the writing on the wall with the M4 CS by its lackluster appeal and lack of demand from a certain niche audience..

Although I know a M2 CS would be out of reach for me personally, it gives hope for the future iterations of entry-level M vehicles transmission choices..

Less weight (CSL) was what I was hoping for. This just seems like more of the same...add power and pretend nobody notices it's almost 3700lbs.

If the price is right it will sell really well.

If the price is tide to exclusivity of limited run then current Competition owners can build their own, slap all carbon bits including CCB and save the extra $$$.

Still interested to see outcome.

The CCB on an M4 is an 8200 option.

Add also 763M wheels seen on the mule, add carbon roof.

68 would be a deal, so don't think so. You have to add the low volume % tax.

The lackluster appeal stems from the ridiculous $100k+ USD price tag.
