I haven't driven it much to offer any feedback on the suspension. It is definitely firmer than stock. I am used to KW V3 which I've had on my Q7 TDI and 135is. Since the MPS is made by KW, I have a feeling I will be getting similar results.

As far as the coding, I did not do any performance stuff. I only did some of the bells and whistles - like DVD playing on the screen, emergency braking, etc...

sorry folks. life took over for a few weeks...

here are some pictures from Saturday. i attended the DetailersDomain annual Open House BBQ. i ended up staying later than i had planned. took my about 7 hours to get home. it was a great way to do a long drive on the M Performance Suspension.

M Performance Suspension Impressions
1. Definitely stiffer than stock. This was made very obvious in the not so great NJ roads. This however improved in better paved roads on the drive home. Car is very very planted - extremely flat/stable on turns. I might need to play around with the settings since it has a small bouncey feel only in certain situations. The car sits perfectly (the way I prefer it to be).

2. Wheels/Tires are tucked. I will be getting an alignment towards the end of this week and ask for about a -2 to -3 degree camber in preparation for the Apex wheels I ordered. I will order the stud kit and skip the spacers for now. I would like to see how the Apex with the wider tires sit in its current height.

Overall >> I would recommend this suspension. The KW V3s might be a better option but I wanted to skip the dealer warranty issue for now since the car is new.

Anyways, here are some pictures...

Re-fueling...

Post long drive maintenance wash...

Thumbs up Stud Conversion Kit + 5mm Spacers

well, in preparation for the ApexRaceParts wheels and tires that i ordered, i found the time to install a stud conversion kit and try out some 5mm spacers.

sourced the parts from:
- Rogue Engineering (Stud Kit)
- Black Forest Industries (Spacers)

**excuse the filthy car

PARTs + TOOLS

Used a screw driver and MF towel to prevent the fronts from spinning - Optional (but helpful for solo DIY)

cleaned each opening with brake cleaner just to get rid of any debris that can cause any issues with the thread locker.

applied a drop of thread locker (RED) to each stud.

hand tightened each of the studs

torqued the studs between 20-30 lb-ft (got information from youtube - please do research beforehand for your specific application)

BFI spacers have always been nice. they even have the BFI logo laser etched on one side (sorry for the blurry pic).

applied some anti-seize on both sides to prevent the spacer from getting stuck. i've seen friends get their spacers fused with either the hub or the wheel. not fun...

mount the wheels back on and torque the wheels back to the correct settings.

let the thread locker cure for a few hours. i waited at least 24 hours before taking the car out for a drive.

i will share the spacer results after the car has had a decent washing. thanks for visiting...

The spacer is only 5mm. It is designed with the center tapered to expose the original hub a little bit more. There is plenty left. I think you need an extra lip when you’re over 10mm. If you look closer, there’s plenty left to hang the wheel.

It's because I'd like to get the spacers but I m worried about the hubcenter. The hub if 10 m so you have 5mm left

Some spacers extend the hub. just make sure you buy the right one with the correct hub size.

Updates on the 5mm spacers. It didn't push it out by a lot (as expected). I just wanted the top edge of the wheel to move closer to the fender apex. These will do for now since my Apex wheels are expected to come in a few wheels. The wheels and tires will be wider to help fill up the wheels wells.

looooong wait is finally over for the ApexRaceParts wheels for the M2C...

went with the 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 RE-71R tires.

but first, time to ceramic coat the wheels with some Nanolex products purchased from DetailersDomain.

used the Nanolex SiShield Kit.

don't mind the mulch on the tire. tire is seriously sticky

prep before coating.

make sure you do this in a well ventilated place. a mask might be needed.
