Traffic Ticket Attorney?

Well, Happy Monday.. it was bound to happen someday. Got clocked at 92 mph and I haven't had a ticket in 7 years... anyone have any good or bad experience with the ticket attorney? I know I can pay the fine and go to traffic school but looking at other options...

I'd pay the fine and go to traffic school. Why pay a Lawyer too.

That may make you ineligible for traffic school. I can't remember though.

I truly believe in them.
I was caught in the early 2000's going double the speed limit following a street race and was pulled over. I went from having 0 to possibly having 18 points on my license during the stop. Only reason I wasn't locked up was he needed a warrant to impound my car and couldn't locate the judge at 3am. I hired a traffic lawyer ($1,400) and he got me out with a $400 fine and no points. He was a retired judge and knew all the ins and out of the system.
I learned my lesson.

Is it just a speeding ticket? If so I wouldn't worry about a lawyer because that will cost more than the ticket most likely, and even then you'll probably have to pay the ticket. And you haven't had one in 7 years so your driving record is in good standing.

If you're worried about insurance going up, my provider will forgive a ticket if you haven't had one in a while. Maybe yours does too.

I have one I use in FL and now one in SC but none in CA. I use one whenever the occasion arises.

I don't know how it works in CA but in FL there is a max number of times you can go to traffic school so that's one reason to avoid using that option here - to save it. If you have a clean record for 3 years here you also are more likely to have lower court costs / penalties.

Good Luck!

25+ over the limit is an auto loss of license here...

My dad has used this company in the past. He only had to pay the ticket and no points.

lucky for you it was just a ticket. I was popped for 29 over in a 45 two weeks ago in Illinois. I was arrested on the spot, car towed. Anything over 25 in Illinois is now a criminal offense. I had no choice to hire a lawyer. Today was actually my court date. He got it down to 100 fine and 4 months supervision. No points against my license.

In California, you can only use traffic school once every 18 months. If you go to trial and lose, the judge can still allow you to do traffic school, but it isn't mandatory.

True, but i wasn't being that philosophical. I merely thought getting a set of boobs fixed issues fast and easy for me.

Pity works better than boobs, i can prove it!

My good friend used to work for Nokia, she and her friend had a flat tyre in their car pool car almost every time both of them showed up to work in miniskirts. They were left alone to fix the problem every time, they did have an awfully lot of viewers tho.

The same friend had a baby, and her tits were massive then. She was a tiny little thing rocking a pair of boobs so big i swear to god she needed a mirror to see her toes. She went to visit her work mates with the baby, and her car refused to start when they were leaving. In no time at all she was surrounded by men pushing her car around while the others were apologizing for waiting so long before coming to her rescue. Men were running around trying to help them two until they got on with their way.

Naturally we forget the huge boobs popping up simultaneously with the baby and see that men are epically good creatures who always feel pity when they see a person in need. Get a pair of man boobs, it would totally work, not with the ladies but since most cops are men, they would naturally let you off just because boobs cause back problems and migraines and those are things everyone knows about boobs.

I'm not sure if i managed to proof boobs are evil or good, or that men are horrible or angels but I'm sure i have every angle covered.

I've highlighted the only important point here which you seemingly have not grasped. She visited. With her baby. And then when it was mercifully time for her (meaning the baby) to leave, the car wouldn't let her. And that I believe is the real reason for the apparent male eagerness to help her depart...no car was going to prevent those men from going back to a baby-less office.

Respectfully, I tender the theory that men are angels and boobs are evil, but a set of good boobs make men do horrible things. Like shopping. Or listening.
