Yesterday i tried the front rim: With 20mm spacer I had to cut the protector, it is bigger than the inside of the rim. Today I took out the calipers, i'm going to mill the outside face a few millimeters. |

Before buying the rims I was sure that I would be able to mount them with 400mm brakes, my 19 rims have an internal diameter of 460mm and there is still space between the caliper and the rim (with the naked eye about 15mm), the 18 rims have an internal diameter of 448mm, for this reason reason I knew they could be mounted.

Very nicely done. Any before/after pics of calipers? My only concern would be if this compromised and structural integrity of the caliper. Especially under hard loads Looking forward to see everything mounted! |
