Ohlins R&T w Vorshlag Camber Plates

Installed a new set of Ohlins R&T and Vorshlag camber plates.

When setting the ride height of the car, I adjusted the front and rear locking ring 13mm lower from the recommended specs provided by Ohlins. I currently have no issues with rubbing.

You can use your OEM end links but the clearance between the end link and control arm is tight. You might have to raise the front end a bit.

The dampers are set to 4 click (Track). The ride quality is absolutely amazing. Body roll on the car has been cut in half and the amount of confidence I have when taking a corner has raised.

Still messing around with alignment specs but will post an update when I finalize the numbers.

People have complained about the Vorshlag camber plates making a lot of noise but I have yet to witness this issue.

Overall, amazing setup. Would highly recommend for tho spirited drivers and occasional track days.

I would think my GC camber plated are noisier than yours but mine came with the car and stock suspension so I could never tell what the normal stock hat sounds like lol.

Can attest to the Öhlins being much nicer than the stock as I always said to myself I could never own a car for long without coil overs after I experienced a set of KW V2’s on my F30. I find HAS kits to be a half assed in my opinion as if you’re going for the height adjustment why not just go for the proper compression /rebound setup from the start.

Haven’t even taken her to the track yet just spirited canyon runs and camber plates + coils certainly let’s the F87 chassis shine.

Love the Arcanine Pokémon plate reference, made me smile looking back to my childhood.

What’s the possibility for the front drop links contacting the lower arm?

It’s closed to touch when the car is lifted, but when it’s on the ground with pressure there’s gap between them, no worries.

Here’s the alignment specs I went with. Factory alignment with more front camber for now.

Wow, this looks super. Love the forge Apex wheels. Aspirational setup for me!
