I did not, haven't had much spare time, and the little I do goes towards working on my Miata. I'll get around to it, eventually.

Has anyone heard anything back from Imran@Evolve ?
Earlier in the thread, someone mentioned Evolve was going to create a solution for this.

Did anyone ever try fitting the elbows from the M3/M4? I read all the posts earlier...just curious if anyone tried.

I contacted Eventuri and they mentioned April for the fresh air intake on the M2C.

I spoke to Eventuri yesterday and the said they aren't doing anything about this at all, and have had no plans to do anything ever.

they went as far as saying to modify my car and fit the m4 ducts if I wanted a solution.

Soo....

I've got something on the 3d printer cooked up and flow tested in computer simulation....

I ordered some stock intake pieces to make sure the specs are right and will likely be able to mock it up next week. Will report back here when it's done and tested. Will be hapoy to share if anyone is interested.

Will do. I have so many different versions as of now... I have the oem intake pieces coming in any day to test fit. Once I have a final version that fits nicely, will post up the files.

Hi, everyone.
I installed corner pipes (13717613156, 13717613157) and meshes (13718507321) from the M3/M4 on my M2C. Everything works perfectly!

Confused.

Is this just a bolt-on with four parts, or is there 3D printing parts involved??

4 oem s55 m3/4 parts pnp - LHS elbow + RHS elbow + 2 x meshes - part no as per post above.

If wanting a scoop - some folks modify a gauge pod to make a scoop mounted front-wards over the mesh....

These are fully factory-made parts from M3/M4. Everything is installed without problems! You only need to cut holes in the plastic.
Without 3D ))))

That looks awesome.

I redesigned the elbow and included a ram air scoop. Also I tried to move it a bit forward .... Prototype 1 was tested, but there were some issues ... So on to prototype 2.

I've been luck enough to consult with some pro mechanics via a friend and discuss airflow velocities etc... Will present my findings here once completed.

How does the elbow connect to the part where you cut the plastic?

And I *think* there are templates stamped into the plastic for where to cut?

TIA--

The photo shows how the angle pipe is inserted into the plastic from the inside. It holds perfectly, and is fixed on the outside with a grid.

The template is a corner pipe!

Very simple installation, no need to invent anything ! All OEM.

Carbon_73 what all did you remove to do the install/cutting properly? Looks like front bumper and possibly the headlights?
