The M3/4's run F: 255/35 R:275/35 stock on the same width wheels as us (9,10).

Some models come with F: 265/35 R: 285/35.

Most M3/4 guys run F: 265/35 R: 295/30 or 35.

I plan on putting the rear tires up front and buying 285/35 for the rear. Both are the max recommend size for the width and maintain the same circumference stagger (0.6") F/R.

Has anyone else done this yet? Wanting to see how it looks with a meatier tire at stock ride height.

There is more room for tire on the M3/4. I believe 265/35 tires will likely rub in front on an M2C, but 285/35 may be ok in the rear.

I recently put some 255/275 MP4S on and it's tight but so far so good...

Good to know. I figured as stretched as the 245 is up front 265 wouldn't be an issue.

Looks like I'll wait till these need replaced. I was going to go for it since I can use the 245 front tires on my other BMW but I can't use the 265's.

As soon as my rear tires are worn, I'm switching to 265/30/19 front and 295/30/19 rear.

265 in the front rubbed the front fender protector, I went to 255 barely any space, but works. 285 in the back no problem.

285/35 fits easily in the rear, and 265/35 works fine in the front (unless you plan to lower your car). You *might* get a touch of rubbing in the front on full lock, but it's negligible.

Do you have a picture of 255/285 setup? I'm assuming 35 sidewall on both?

What was the sidewall? I assume 265/35 and 285/35?

pretty much, iPhone XS MAX, it has been raining and the car is dirty. But, these are patina bronze, nicer looking on the SO than gold 763m.

I have Vorsteiner V-FF 103's in 19x9 et21 and 19x10.5 et40, fr/re respectively.

Waiting for Conti tires in 255/35 and 285/30, fr/re respectively. Yes, i'm getting Cont's only because I have access to them at a huge discount.

Hopefully they will clear on stock suspension.

Anyone used this combo?

These will become my "street" wheels/tires. I will use my "stock" wheels/PSS tires for track.

I'll Pass

I'm sure the larger tires will look a little better, but my concern is the change in handling; I'm not sure it will be better. The increase in grip means you'll likely need an increase in power to compensate. I went to a larger wheel on my 135i and car never quite let go in the rear the way it used to. And when it did, It wasn't a smooth slide. I think I'll trust BMW in what should be the appropriate setup.

surprised of these 285/35 and 30 setups.

I`m going with 255/30 and 295/25. or 235/30 and 275/25 lol, had that setup on my 6 series with 9/11" wheels.
