I think losing it’s shape is partly down those wheels, the orange one I saw last week didn’t seem to look as meaty either. For me, the original deep dish wheels really work well with the arches.

Tbh I’m seriously considering ditching my M2C order and going for one of the ridiculously priced M4C 0% deals. My dealer is giving me the run around since I’ve paid my deposit, the comms have been none existent and can’t get a single straight answer on any questions. Anyone got an idea if I’ll lose the £1k deposit if I cancel??
Dealer hasn’t returned my messages on this.

RichyT I'd dump that dealer based on their crap customer service regardless.. name and shame!

Yes should get your deposit back, - check your Ts&Cs..

I considered the M4, but it defeated the object for me, I wanted the smaller car and going for the barge like M4 didn't add up.

There's a reason for 0% deals, outgoing model, poor sales etc.. but each to their own.

For me the M2 deep dish wheels make the old M2 look cartoonish and OTT, I prefer the more subtle look of the M2C wheels.

Im with 335dja! Wheels can kill a car, and they are killing the M2C.

Went to a Porsche event today and everyone said the std M2 was better looking on the concaves.

One guy has actually cancelled his M2C and at £57k with 3% off was the reason I cancelled mine.

I think that’s the exact same reason I do like them
I loved the OTT cartoon look of the 1M too, I promised myself one when they depreciated a bit....
That didn’t quite work out as planned when they instantly started rising in value.

Don't like the wheels and seats were ok. Suppose it's the engine but for me I'm happy with the std M2 I bought 4 months ago.
I wonder if that might be partly as many said already, because of the wheels not offering enough contrast. Also, probably, the artificial lighting didn't make it justice.

PS: I got the HS myself so I'm trying to convince myself I made the right choice

Black (smoked) wheels are the way to go with HS for that reason.

I'm confident it will be great

This is the one parked outside my dealer (guess it' the demo) and the silver looks 100% better out of bright light.

It's still not as classic a silver as I would prefer, but I do feel like the updated looks of the M2C have grown on me quite a lot.

This one also had the upgraded brakes and they look mighty impressive.

Nice, yet another lovely HS with black wheels...

Are dealers incapable of fitting reg plates straight these days? See so many wonky plates, look awful.

Is that an M5 comp in the background?

Hehehe, I expressively demanded my dealership to don't even try to drill my car for that very reason.

That's like mine will be I suppose... I went for the brakes too. Thanks for sharing.

_debo that' interesting as no cars with the big brakes (after first few already delivered) are supposed to be delivered until Q3 next year due to shortage of big brakes parts at BMW.

I had to remove the option last month to even get a build slot

When is yours due?

I think so yes, didn't spend much time looking, was just passing on my bike and decided to stop for a quick nosy (always feel a little strange pushing my bike round dealership lots after hours). Will be heading back for a better look around since seeing the M2C was in stock.

Also just realising with the black wheels and sun glass it'll probably have the M2 Plus Pack.

The dealership didn't give an exact date but he said end of December beginning of January. To be fair I'm not in rush so I'm happy to wait if that needs to be. I went full spec in my case, I ticked pretty much all the boxes except the useless ones like smokers pack and sun roof.

Maybe, but I added black wheels and sun glass as single options as I didn't want the other plus items.

I wouldn't expect that to add to the wait, but who knows what do they do in those productions lines.

Since we are a bit OT already, which colour did you go for?

I'd chase them if I were you. When did you order?

As far as I know the UK order stop bulletin from early August is still out meaning the 2NH brake option cannot be built (so you car won't even be on the system).

Current delivery estimates I've read are Q3 2019 (i.e. July onward)

Great choice... I opted for blue stitching instead. By the way, I sent an email to the dealership; waiting for a reply now.
