Hey guys,
I have another thread but decided to make another so you won't have to go through to find the pictures and review. Forgeline was responsible for setting this up and I can't thank them enough. They have all the measurements for the wheels on stock suspension and lowered suspension. H&R was kind enough to send these to test. The springs are now available via H&R website or through your preferred dealer. These are the sport springs. The springs are all new and have their own part number. The install is straight forward and easy as ever. They include new bump stops for the front. Ride: ride is slightly firmer as expected but is barely discernible from stock. Turn in feels sharper and the drop is perfect. It's the way it should have came from the factory. .8" drop, equal all around probably due to complaints stemming from the f8x chassis. Pictures are of the stock wheels and some beautiful transparent gold Forgeline GA1Rs 19x9.5 and 19x10.5. Offsets right around stock for this level of meat. 265/35 up front with 315/30 out back, all Hoosier slicks. The rears with some camber(around 3 or more) would be doable. The wheels had no fitment issues. First car pic is of stock suspension, looks like a truck now. |

Had some old 20mm spacers laying around. Decided to see how they fit. The front is right for people looking for "fitment" and that will run coils, camber and a little bit of stretch. So 9" et 9 or equivalent will get you an aggressive stance boy poke. Take off about 8mm a little camber to run a real tire. Overall a no go for me. Not my style.
The rear with the 20mm is probably a no go period. Just doesn't fit correctly. So 10" et20 or equivalent is about 8-10mm off the mark. The fronts are about 8-10mm off as well. I like a little poke up front, but this would rub with any respectable tire and how it sits on the 245's. I'm going to either order wheels equivalent to 9" et19 up front and equal to 10" et30 in the rear or run some 10-12mm spacers for the time being. 9.5 et25-30 and 10.5 et32-37 will be my specs. |

Nice experiment thanks.
Plus wow how good does that front fender flare look there, great shot. Looks better than the M4 rear flare. And it's the M2 rear with the big fender flare
