Condensation in left tail light

Has anyone had this problem? I noticed it today when the sun went behind the house away as I was installing the MPerformance spoiler. I haven't had an accident and I can't detect any crack on the exterior.

Hoping this is covered under warranty as the car is now just only 53 weeks old

I noticed I had a bit when I first got the car. I took the light off, reseated it and haven't had a problem since.

It's pretty bad, I'm going to take it in. I'm going to assume it's a seal

They should cover that under warranty and upgrade you to the LCI tail lights a few others have experienced this on their pre LCI M2.

I had the problem. It's completely covered under warranty.

I doubt they'll automatically (or even upon request, at least not for free) upgrade you to LCI lights - this requires a small wiring change, which wouldn't be covered under warranty. It's not like the pre-LCI tails are NLA or anything. Mine just got replaced with new standard tails, presumably with a better seal.

If others managed to get the upgrade under warranty, good on them, but I wouldn't recommend expecting it.

That appears to be a common problem and many guys have been upgraded to LCI tail lights lately.

Nothing will get past it.

Update: service department knew right away what was up before I even said it was the left side. Apparently it's a known issue and they replaced the whole assembly no cost with a revised part.

Same here. left was doing it and they replaced it under warranty and now my right is doing it, I'll address it when it goes for service this year. I also had the backing plate update done and they replaced rear wheel bearings at the same time for some reason but I don't really care why.
