My car that was on Niagara Highway, that hit port on 7/20 has now been flipped back to in transit and on its way to the VPC

Thought I would update this for future users searching for an answer.

Boat arrived at Port Hueneme 7/23 and the car was offloaded same day.
Car arrived at the in Bay Area dealer 5 days later on Wednesday 7/28

So total time for customs, VPC, and trucking was 5 days, very quick.

Picking up this afternoon.

Thank you for the info. When did your car switch to at port and then back to in transit on the website. The ship is definitely at port here (arrived yesterday) but the site has not updated.

I noticed that BMW warehouse at Galveston port is closed Saturday and Sunday. May be someone from their team has to scan the codes or something who knows? which cant be done at least till Monday morning if that is the case. Mine has been in transit too even though Victoria Highway reached early morning yesterday.

Boat got to Hueneme at like 11pm at night and I wanna say it flipped to “at the port” next day. And then it was definitely at least a couple days before it flipped back over to in transit.

Appreciate the reply. It switched to at port this morning. Dealer said should be there within a week.

I guess I drew the short straw. Its been at port since the 20th and then flipped to in transit. Then on the 26th it switched back to at port for the vehicle processing center. It was supposed to be on a transport truck yesterday but its still at port with no further update.

I went and found it on Sunday afternoon and it is now in for detail and ppf at Autoimage in Barrington. I'll have it next week at the latest. You're close to me, I live off Higgins. Hope to see you around!
