Brakes/fluid/pads for track days in CS
I planning on a few track weekends per year with my CS.
I am coming from 20+k track miles in a couple different 987.2 Caymans where I used girodisc rotors, rbf 600, and pagid yellow 29s for my brake setup….never had any issues and did all of my own work. What setups (rotors, fluid, pads) are people using on the track for the CS? I have cheap red brakes. THANKS! |

Depends on how hard you're pushing it. I boiled my Motul RBF660 last event. Nothing but SRF for me from here on out. Some folks can use ATE with no problem.
Pad wise... I love the PFC-11s in the M2. Haven't tried pagid, though. |

Stock fluid held up at last event, but I'm switching to 660 for future events with Pagid 29s. I use pfc 08 on my E36, but not available in pad sizes for the CS from what I could find.

RBF600 and Pagid RSL29. They work phenomenally for track-only use. OEM rotors are fine but if you want better rotors get the Girodisc rotors.

Stock rotor, Castrol SRF, and Ferodo ds1.11.
Pads we have limited option for 2NH. Ferodo and Gloc have some good pads that I have personal experience with. Pagid I've heard is not as good.

Not as good on the Pagid in what way? I interviewed a number of M2C 2NH owners and the Pagid seemed to be a solid bet, so I went that way. The Ferodo options seemed all over the map when I talked to people.

I don't have 2NH brakes, but I've been using ferodo pads for many seasons now. Absolutely love them. |

On my LCI M2, I've actually found that running the ferodo DS1.11 on the front, and DS2500 on the rear worked out well. The bonus with ferodo is, you can run the 2500s on the street. They have minimal noise, and the compounds are close to the 1.11's, so no rebedding is required when swapping out track pads for street. |

This is on the CS? Was talking to a friend that tracks a fair bit and he felt the Pagids were over aggressive with any street driving and hard on rotors. So I'm going to be curious to see if I have similar experience or not since he was a Porsche guy.
