2021 SCCA Solo Classing

First time getting back into autox in many years.

I'm cruising the 2021 rules, and I'm puzzled (SURPRISE!).

I see the M2C lives in B-Street.

I have MPerformance Coils, Camber Plates, and the Apex EC7 in M2C fitments (which are wider and different offset than OEM) with 265/295 R888R's.

The tires I think put me out of street category automatically (less than 200TW), but I'm unsure where to go from here.

The A-Street Prepared shows the M2 (no mention of M2C), and B-Street Prepared doesn't list the M2 at all.

Do I go into ASP?

Looks like ASP for your M2 unless you have the ZL9 performance edition. If you had 200TW tires instead of the Toyos you could also be in the new Xtreme Street class. I believe XS-A. The XS-B is for lighter weight cars. Basically in that class you could do almost anything but have to run 200TW tires. You could also jump into Street Modified too, just to have fun.

Garage List
I know they are considering retiring existing STS and then cramp all the AS/BS/SS cars in as a street touring super class.

Thanks for the input.

I don't remember the classing being this messy 10 years ago. But.... Progress!

Ten years ago the Street Prepared classes were abundant and Street Touring was coming along strong, adding a bunch of classes. The R tire classes are more minimal now, the 200tw classes are the abundant and popular classes now. Despite all the noise, there will always be a class to jump into, and have a fun time doing it!
